Fly-In Theater

Located adjacent to Camp Scholler, the Fly-In Theater is reminiscent of the famous drive-in theaters of the past.
From the comfort of their lawn chair or blanket, attendees enjoy Hollywood classics illuminating from a five-story-high projection screen. And there’s free popcorn too!
Each evening’s show begins at approximately 8:30 p.m. with an introduction by a presenter, followed by a classic film (weather permitting). Please note there will be no presenter before the Wednesday and Saturday night films.
All movies are included with your admission wristband.

Saturday, July 19
Top Gun (1986) – The all-time favorite film about naval aviation starring Tom Cruise, Anthony Edwards, and Val Kilmer.
Sunday, July 20
One Six Right (2005) and Living in the Age of Airplanes (2015) – a double feature celebrating the 20th anniversary of the classic documentary One Six Right and the 10th anniversary of Living in the Age of Airplanes, with producer Brian Terwilliger.
Monday, July 21
Icon in the Sky (2025) and Thunderbolt (1947) – A very special introduction kicks off the world premiere of Icon in the Sky, Goodyear’s documentary celebrating 100 years of the company’s airships, followed by William Wyler’s WWII color feature Thunderbolt, which takes you inside a P-47 squadron on daring missions against the Axis in Europe.
Tuesday, July 22
The Bridges at Toko-Ri (1954) – William Holden and Grace Kelly star in this seminal film about US Naval aviators in the Korean War.
Wednesday, July 23
Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines (1965) – This epic comedy, set in 1910, offers a deliriously skewed look at the earliest days of aviation and air racing, and features spectacular flying scenes thanks to a fleet of purpose-built flying replicas of aircraft of the era.

Devotion (2022) – Glen Powell and Jonathan Majors star in this film, which is inspired by the true story of the bond between naval aviators Tom Hudner and Jesse Brown during the Korean War.
Friday, July 25
Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen (1983) – This two-hour episode was the finale of the seminal television series M*A*S*H, a show that, for 11 years, brought the stories of the Korean War into homes every week.
Saturday, July 26
Fly Away Home (1996) – Starring Jeff Daniels and Anna Pacquin, this engaging family film, this film is loosely based on the experiences of Operation Migration founder Bill Lishman, who trained geese and later cranes to follow him in an ultralight trike in order to establish new migration routes.
